Ashley Durnford of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at the age of 27 years.

Ashley was born in Calgary, AB, on January 11, 1996.

Ashley graduated from Bishop McNally High School. This was a triumph for Ashley, as she struggled into the end of her high school experience for reasons that she overcame and completed her education on time, due to her tenacity, and perseverance.

Ashley accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of her children, Hunter and Harlow. Ashley had an exceptional work ethic, which lead her to advance in her career quickly.

Ashley enjoyed being adventurous, taking risks, spending time with her friends and family. She was very creative, wrote meaningful poetry, and had a very infectious laugh.

Ashley’s most memorable vacation was when visiting her grandfather, along with her family, in Victoria, B.C. This included being attacked by butterflies at a butterfly sanctuary. This was likely because the butterflies were jealous of her colourful personality.

Ashley is survived by her daughter Harlow, and her son Hunter. As well as her mother Lisa, sister Dani (Jeff), and brother Matthew (Janin), and nephew Brooklyn. Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins, in Alberta, British Columbia, and the U.S.A.

Funeral Services will be held at Foothills Alliance Church (333 Edgepark Blvd NW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre Foothills Alliance Church. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
