Joey and Jeannine Warren
My sincerere condolences to Bruce’s wife and children as well as to Joyce and Barbara. I grew up with the Taylor family on Grimmer Lane in Dalhousie, NB and have special memories of you. May you be comforted by all the love and support surrounding you in these difficult times. Rest in peace Bruce.
We want to remember a fellow Goldray alum who has recently passed away.
Bruce started working at Goldray during the transition period of moving into this building at the end of 1997. A millwright by trade, he ran the maintenance department for many years. He designed and built all of the dollies we are still using today. Many of the things we use in the factory were made by him. Even while working, Bruce enjoyed chit-chat and tried to keep people laughing.
Outside work, he liked sharing a beer and a few more laughs whenever possible. In the early days, many late work nights moved from the factory to Cosmos, discussing the job, of course, and what time beer would be the next night. In later years, he would become Prince's first supervisor. He also enjoyed questioning "the history according to Phil" because it seemed there were a few discrepancies.
When he moved on from Goldray, he still returned to visit—always looking forward to catching up with Johnny and anyone else who would listen, talking about old times. Cheers to you, Bruce.
I was so saddened to hear this shocking news. My heart goes out to you and your family at this time of grief.
So sorry to hear about Bruce’s passing. Our deepest condolences Debbie, Nicholas, Jessica and all of the families and friends. Treasure all the precious memories! Rest In Peace, Bruce!
