Obituary of Matthew Dane Radomske

Matthew Radomske of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the age of 31 years.
Matthew was born in Kindersley, SK on June 18, 1991. He brought to this world an exquisite light, filling each and every life he touched with joy and humour. His authentic brand of loyalty and tenacity was evident even from a young age. When his parents Kevin and Deidre blessed him with his younger brother Dillan in 1993, he instantly stepped into the role of adoring older brother. He was again gifted a younger sister Megan in 1998, whom he loved dearly. He will be remembered fondly by all of his immediate family members who will look back on the years they had with him as some of the best of their lives.
Matthew spent his formative years discovering his natural ability to work with his hands. He spent many evenings with his grandfather George learning how to fix small machinery and weld. The latter craft would become his lifelong passion and ignite within him a sense of greater purpose. His incredible work ethic and love of welding allowed him to become a true expert in the field, impressing apprentices and foremen alike. Toward the end of his life, he was able to shape the next generation of journeymen, training several apprentices who look back on their time with him as inspirational. Upon receiving news of his untimely passing, condolences from his colleagues blanketed his family and provided them with some semblance of comfort in some of their darkest hours.
Matthew was also blessed to have found the love of his life in the spring of 2017. He and Ana were instantly the perfect fit, with each partner providing the other with the support and adoration they needed to succeed. Their relationship was transformational and provided all of those around them with an example to aspire to. Despite their time together coming to an end too soon, their love will live on in eternity.
A Celebration of Matthew’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway Hospitality Centre (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., with the ceremony being concluded with a Chinese lantern release. All who knew him are encouraged to attend and remember the man we all knew and loved. His family, partner, and close friends look forward to having a chance to meet all that he touched with his light. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
