What a full and wonderful life. I was very good friends with Alias as a teenager and young adult. I spent a lot of time with the Sander’s family. Miriam Sanders was such an inspiration to me. She had so many qualities She was a really warm mother. She literally made fresh squeezed orange for Alias every day. She was always positive and looking for ways for healthy living. She also went to university to pursue knowledge and she was a wealth of knowledge and could carry a conversation with anyone. A very humble person with a great laugh and smile. I remember how I always felt welcome in their home. I wish I kept in touch

My condolences. I met Mrs. Sanders when I picked up her son on ski trips. Early mornings on Winter weekends that inevitably woke everyone. I enjoyed her calm kindness, sparkling mirth and simple generosity. I am grateful for that same spirit I have always enjoyed with those she raised.
