Obituary of Marjorie Beatrice Rutquist

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie Rutquist, our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and loyal friend. 

Marjorie was born in Vancouver, BC on August 3, 1924, and passed away peacefully at home in the presence of family on Friday, March 17, 2023, at the age of 98 years. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Frederick, her son Ken and sister Phyllis. She is survived by her son Dan (Joy); daughters, Susan and Linda; brother Ted; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. 

We will greatly miss her smile and loving ways. She was always there to care, listen and give support.

In living memory of Marjorie Rutquist, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area.
