Obituary of Felicia Colleen Young

Felicia Young, was called home by our Creator on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the age of 49 years.
Felicia was a very special person and unique in her own way. Loving, charismatic and always found a way to make you smile. Her humour uplifted us all and was always there with a helping hand. She was brought up traditionally and culturally. In her younger days, she was a barrel racer and travelled to compete. She was a member of I.R.C.A rodeo circuit as well as the F.C.A rodeo circuit. With open arms, she helped raised her nephews and niece, Alton, Brody and Erin. Felicia was the type of person to always put you back on your feet, someone to trust and rely on when things got tough with her creative and amazing ways. She left us all with a piece of her.
Felicia is survived by her spouse Riel; her sons, Davis and Travis; her adopted son Kylan; her father Alvin; her siblings, Aaron, Scott, Ryan, Trudy, Vern, and Sequin; her adopted siblings, Dean, Brenda, Holly, Ruth Anne, and Latifah; her aunts, Emily (Rod), Wendy, Yvonne and Winnie; her uncles, Gavin, Bruce, Peter, Terry, and Rod; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We apologize if we have missed anyone.
Felicia was predeceased by mother Madeline; her son Jiles; her sisters, Renita and Tricia; her brothers, Gabriel and Jordan; her grandmothers, Phyllis and Florence; her grandfathers, Fred and Peter; and several of her loving aunts and uncles.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Alvin Young (Morley, AB) on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at the Bearspaw Youth Centre (Morley, AB) on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Young Cemetery (Morley, AB).
