Sharon “Sherry” Holowach (nee Stevenson), beloved wife of Eugene “Ernie” Holowach, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the age of 71 years.

Sherry married Ernie in 2003 and together they have spent the past 20 years creating many loving memories. For over 38 years, Sherry was a passionate and active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and took incredible pride in helping others. Sherry accomplished much through her life including a lengthy career as a legal assistant and later to follow as a realtor. Sherry had a deep love for her family. She was particularly proud of her two daughters and her grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband, Sherry is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Patton (Michael), and Courtenay Hector (Nathan); and her loving grandchildren, Olivia Patton, Samuel Patton, Keilana Hector, and Elissa Hector. She is also survived by her stepson Eric Holowach (Tara), and granddaughter Riva.

Sherry is also survived by her brother Barry Stevenson (Maire), and sister Gayle Pitt (Rob), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sherry was predeceased by her mother Dorothy Larson, sister Wendy Stevenson, and her beloved grandson Benjamin Patton.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
