Condolences
I worked nights with Effie at the Calgary stampede. Effie always had a story to tell and was very generous with her knowledge of horses and rodeo. I am proud to call her my friend my condolences to her family.
Effie convinced me to join the CGRA about 1958 and i got to know her through our rodeos. SHe had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back, even if she didn't have one! Condolences to her family and friends, she will be missed.
Condolences to family and friends. I had the privilege of going to Amarillo with Effie for seniors rodeo. Lester got a trailer hitch on our new van and we headed out with Effie’s horse and blue healer. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. She turned 50 while on that trip. I wish I had a recording of all that we did. Rest in peace
