Obituary of Anne Krigovsky

January 1, 1923 - Czechoslovakia

March 21, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

Anne Krigovsky passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, just a few weeks after celebrating her 100th birthday on New Year’s Day.

A long-time resident of Calgary and Southern Alberta, Anne worked many years for The Alberta Hail Insurance Board in Calgary until her retirement. Anne was a happy, considerate person, and her values encompassed love and loyalty to her family and her close circle of friends. Even in her 90s, she continued to live in her own home, she enjoyed gardening and daytrips to the mountains and places of interest within the city, as well as spending quality time with family and friends. Anne will be missed by all for her buoyant, honest personality, and cheerful smile.

Anne was predeceased by her dear parents, as well as her loving sister, Mary, her special cousin, Frances (USA), and a number of other relatives and friends in the U.S., Canada and the Czech Republic.

Many thanks to the staff of the Staywell Manor for the excellent care they provided for Anne during the past two years and a special thank you to all the nursing staff on One West for their kindness and compassion in helping to make Anne comfortable during her final few days.
