Quinn Anne Stannard, age 2, died in the arms of her mother and father on Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Alberta Childrens Hospital in Calgary, AB.

Quinn was born on June 2, 2020, in Calgary, to parents Ryan Stannard and Clare Clinckett. A happy, bubbly child, Quinn had a vibrant personality with a wonderfully original approach to life. She was known by her family and friends as silly, charismatic and with character beyond her years. She had a distinct sense of rhythm and could often be found dancing to a variety of music and sounds from hip-hop, country, techno, classical and even the sound of a blender while making morning smoothies. She loved fiercely and took on her role as a new big sister with pride. Although she left us far too soon, she lived a life filled with joy and laughter surrounded by those who loved her.

Quinn is survived by her parents, Ryan and Clare; her newborn baby brother Miles; her paternal grandparents, Darlene Stannard (Baba), and Craig Stannard (Grandpa); her maternal grandparents, Annette Barrington (Amma), David Clinckett (Pa), and Lisa Evren (Nana); her aunts and uncle, Melissa Stannard (Auntie Lissa), Nicole Clinckett, Richard Gibney, Christopher Evrén, and Juliana Penz; her cousins, Henry Gibney, and Edie Rose Evrén; her beloved dog, Porter, and all of her friends and family.

Celebration of Quinn’s Life will take place at Bow Valley Ranche (15979 Bow Bottom Trail SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Quinn loved to know and recount everyone’s favourite colour, please consider wearing your favourite colour to help celebrate what a vibrant little girl she was.

At this time the family is not accepting flowers or deliveries, only happy thoughts of wonderful memories shared with Quinn. Condolences, photos, and memories can be shared here.
