Condolences to the Peddle families and friends.
To Thelma and your family. Please accept my deepest wishes to comfort you at this time of great sorrow. I remember visiting you, Thelma, at the home you and Steve made together in Fort McMurray. The two of you had the warmest home and the most beautiful yard. I remember Steve showing me the fabulous shelter he had made for your rabbits in this yard, in a shed full of straw, where the rabbits could stay warm all winter. I was amazed that this was even possible, but the rabbits seemed very happy with the home Steve had made for them, and Steve seemed to be having fun too. Steve was a lovely man who obviously adored you. He will be terribly missed but always fondly remembered.
Thelma and family, you’ve not left my thoughts since Dad shared with me of Steve’s passing. Getting to know Steve and your family years ago in Fort McMurray as we planned our family reunion is a great blessing in my life. Spending time with Steve felt like home to me. He reminded me so much of Pop, his uncle Joe.
Steve was so kind and good. Shawn loved him dearly and we are so grateful for those times he got to spend with Steve. His gentle, thoughtful way will never be forgotten and his kind face and comforting voice will be etched in my heart forever. Sending you all much love and prayers of comfort through this time of deep sorrow.
Our sincere and deepest condolences to you Thelma, Nicole, Erica, Adam, Aaron, beloved grand children and extended families. When Ann Stone called to inform us that Steve had suddenly passed, we were shocked and saddened to hear the sad news. When we were younger, I have many fond memories of when Uncle Bern and Aunt Kathleen and all the family would visit our family home in Tilton. It was always a great time, especially when all the children of both families would gather together. I will always remember those precious memories we formed during those visits to our home.
Thelma our deepest condolences to you and your family.

Thelma and family……. While we haven’t stayed close over the years I do have memories of playing with my cousin Steve from a very early age. Back in the days when Uncle Vince was known as Big Vince and cousin Vince was called Little Vince! As a family we would gather up occasionally and myself and Steve being the boys who were closest in age would play together. Over time we drifted apart particularly when the move to Alberta happened. While distance made a difference I always knew where family was and always knew they could be called upon….
Your return to NL provided a few occasions to reconnect and I will always remember Steve’s big smile. If ever you need anything I’m living in cyber space and can be found. My deepest condolences ……RIP Steve
