Aunt Sylvia and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Don was a very good man and one of my favorite people. I have many great memories from early childhood years all the way thru my adult years. One memory stands out that occurred 20 years ago. We run the Travelodge in Dawson Creek but 20 years ago we were the Inn on the Creek. One day as I was checking in a guest a gentleman entered the office and I turned to him and said "I'll be right with you." and then turned back to the other guest and then realized who I was just talking to. I turned back to the second guest and said "oh my gosh, Uncle Don, good to see you." And after that he was forever our guest whenever he was in the area. He became very close with my family and he always put a smile on our faces whenever he would come to stay with us. We're going to miss you Uncle Don and we hope you are in a better place.
