Celebration of Life
Condolences
I never knew Mr. Shimoon personally. In 2015, I invested in Mr. Simoon's company, Calvalley Petroleum, for my Clients. During that year, Calvalley's producing wells in Yemen were made inaccessible due to a violent uprising. Mr. Shimoon and the company chose to liquidate Calvalley's assets and return the value of the company to the Shareholders. My investment worked out beautifully! But most of all, Mr. Shimoon modeled for me the highest level of integrity in business. He showed more care for his investors than he did for himself. This level of integrity is astonishing. I was sharing this experience with my wife last week and told her that I never properly thanked Mr. Shimoon for the impact that his actions had on me for good. I went out this morning to see if I could send him an email and was sorry to find that he passed. Nevertheless, Thank you Mr. Shimoon! You never knew me, but I do believe a little bit of your integrity has rubbed off on me :)
