It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Catherine Maucieri, on Monday, March 27, 2023. She peacefully passed away in Calgary Alberta, lovingly surrounded by family.

She married her best friend Nicolino Maucieri on February 2, 1967, in Cardston, Alberta. Colleen will forever be remembered by all those whose lives she touched along the sidelines at every sports event her children played, for being an avid supporter of all the activities and interests in her children’s lives, teaching primary children at Church, and serving in the Scouting Community.

Colleen is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Nick, her children, Clinton (Tara), Travis (Susanne), Tonia (Cary), Devon (Kara); and her eleven grandchildren, Dominique, Olivia, Natasha, Rachel (Tyler), Derek, Jordan, Kristin, Kali, Kylan (Jessica), Alexis, and Alyssa.

Colleen was born in Calgary to Henry and Anna Rausch on November 9, 1945, and worked many years as a hairdresser before starting a family. She touched many lives and has left the world a better place from her loving acts of charity and service given throughout her life.

The family thanks the staff and workers of Bethany Harvest Hills for their compassionate care.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints North Stake (5927 Tipton Road NW, Calgary, AB  T2K 3L3) on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Funeral Services will be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints North Stake (5927 Tipton Road NW, Calgary, AB  T2K 3L3) on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:00 am. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Church. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
