Obituary of William Christian FORAN

January 3, 1974 – Calgary, Alberta November 6, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta William C. Foran of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the age of 44 years. William was an intelligent, articulate, caring, thoughtful and generous man with a quick, dry wit and a passion for learning, political debate, and the arts. He encountered many challenges over the course of his life but met each challenge with courage, strength, and determination, and in spite of an overwhelming number of obstacles, achieved many personal and professional successes and touched the hearts and lives of countless friends and strangers from all walks of life. William also loved animals and was devoted to his golden retriever and constant companion of fourteen years, Kaos. William is survived by his parents, Bruce and Diana Foran; sister and brother-in-law, Kerri and Joseph Sanders; nephew and nieces, Cadyn, Brenna, and Sophia Sanders; dear friends, Ken Drysdale, Bryon Grove, Dean McEachern, Lindsey Froland, Tracy Albrecht and Carol Baker. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Fred and Isabelle Foran and Betty and John Slobodian; his uncle, Gregg Foran; and his beloved dog, Kaos. In keeping with William’s wishes, there will be no service.
