Sandy's office was upstairs from mine, (Bentley Insurance) for many years. Whenever we met, I could always count on Sandy's smiling face and kind words. He was always friendly and he is someone I will never forget. I am so sorry for your loss. He brought joy and light to this world. Warm regards, Glenda Kemp
Donna, Scott, Heather and family. My sincere condolences on your loss. I worked for Sandy for several years and there was never a dull moment. He always brought a smile to the office and in the years following every time I saw him he would appear at the door in sort of costume or gag. He was a loyal friend.
Sandy was a warm and generous person. He will be sadly missed by all who were privileged to know him.
Our condolences to Donna, Scott, Heather and family.

I had the distinct pleasure to work for Sandy back in the 70's in the Centre St office. There was always work to be done but Sandy made every day joyful and we shared a lot of laughs! My deepest condolences for your loss; he was one of the good guys!

Sandy was THE BEST in every way. I personally was blessed to have had Sandy as my friend for 65 years. There was never a dull moment if you were in Sandy’s company. He had a magnetic personality and was MR DRESS UP extraordinaire. Every day was HALLOWEEN in Sandy’s mind. Sandy was a gifted athlete, inexhaustible community volunteer, fabulous accountant and golden friend. If there was laughter you instantly knew Sandy was the center and instigator of that fun. He had a lifelong love of big cars, Lincoln Continentals in particular!
He had an arsenal of hilarious tales and loved to tell them whenever the opportunity arose. Sandy may have been small in stature but he was a giant in making all who knew him feel special.
God Bless Him

Mr Bennie was a very close friend of my Dad. I remember going to a lacrosse game with Sandy and my Dad. It must be that he loved to make people smile and laugh because I remember laughing though the whole game. What a gift Sandy was. I’m deeply sorry for your loss Donna, Scott, and Heather. Sincerely, Miriam Neufeld
Sandy was an inspiration. Inspired me to play hockey when I think my dad was having a hard time motivate me and I received a beautiful honorary plaque for my first goal ever that i still keep today. I have many memories but I would have to say my favourite was the little laughing guy in his office. It was infectious and left me in tears laughing every time I went in there with my father. I will miss the chance to see him on the course or anywhere for that mattter. Rest in Peace dear Sandy.
Sandy was a true friend. None like him, and I will surely miss him,
My thought and prayers are with you, Donna, Scott, and Heather.
Sandy always had a welcoming smile and a twinkle in his eye. He always stopped to chat whether busy with yard work or putting golf clubs away in the garage. Sandy was quick with a friendly wave even as our vehicles passed in the back lane. It was a delight to catch up to him anytime.
Warmest thoughts Donna...with sincere hugs to all your family.... Sue Tenold
Donna, Scott and Heather and family. Sincerest condolences for you loss. Sandy was an absolutely great person, and a great community volunteer, lacrosse would not have been the same without his tireless efforts for all of the kids involved.
Deepest sympathy for you.

Dearest Donna, Scott, Heather and family, we are so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. Sandy was a wonderful man, he made such a huge impact on youth hockey and lacrosse, he was instrumental to bringing minor lacrosse to Calgary and his legacy will live on in with forthcoming generations infinitely.
Every time we crossed paths he had nothing but time to share a story and a smile with me. His generous heart and spirit will be dearly missed.
With love, Cliff, Kathy and Mitchell Prentice
