Obituary of Steve Fonnyadt

August 16, 1933 – Keszthely, Hungary

April 5, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

Steve Fonnyadt beloved husband of Katalin (nee Vass) of, Cochrane, Ab, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the age of 89 years.

Steve was born in Keszthely, Hungary on August 16, 1933, and he moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1956.

Steve and Katalin married in 1956 in Budapest, Hungary.

Steve accomplished much through his life and was particularly proud of the family business that he created and that he never really retired from. He was also very proud to be able to work with his two grandsons’.

Steve enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and loved watching soccer and hockey. He also loved travelling to Mexico with Katalin. They went every chance they could.

Steve is survived by his two son’s and their families of Cochrane, Alberta. Steve was predeceased by his loving wife Katalin in 2020.
