Noreen is a faithful woman of God. She has been a mother to many (besides her own children), spiritually or otherwise, totally unselfish and giving. She has tirelessly filled in so many areas of work and needs in her church, Pineridge Christian Fellowship (formerly Calgary Mennonite Fellowship), from Sunday School to prayer and counselling. I personally have been a frequent beneficiary of both Noreen and Alfred's grace and guidance, even as their family was still young. Noreen was never shy to point out biblical truths as she patiently listened to me about my situations, correcting me as I needed. It is through their church, that I started my faith journey with our Lord Jesus Christ. Later on, it is through them that I met my beloved wife Marlene. Repeating all that Noreen has done for me would be voluminous, so I will refrain, just to say she will always be appreciated, remembered, and loved. Noreen is one giant of a faith guide in my walk. Noreen will be sorely missed.
