Obituary of Ronald Stanley McCulloch

May 23, 1943 – Portage la Prairie, Manitoba

April 15, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

Ronald McCulloch, beloved husband of Elizabeth McCulloch (nee Boucher) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the age of 79 years.

Ron was born in Portage la Prairie, MB in 1943. He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He moved to Calgary after graduation and worked for Mobil Oil for 25 years and consulted with other companies for 10 further years. Ron married Elizabeth in 1970. He always had random house projects that he loved to enlist the family to help him with. We will terribly miss spending time with him, on all the odd projects he came up with. He was a member of the Glencoe Club and Calgary Curling Club. Ron gave generously to many charities. He loved to watch and play sports, especially curling and NASCAR.

Ron is survived by his wife Elizabeth, daughters, Danielle McCulloch (Conroy), Lisa Bauman (Peter), and Angela Davies (Chris); and his grandchildren, Broden and Skylar. He is also survived by his sisters Marty Simmons (Cory), and Judy Lambert as well as their children Jennifer, Michael, Hayley, and Sam. Also, many other extended family and friends who he dearly loved.
