Obituary of Patricia Emily Jaeger

Patricia Jaeger of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the age of 87 years.

Patricia married Frederick in Westmount, Montreal 1957.  They moved to Calgary, AB, in 1983.

She volunteered with the Children’s Cottage in Calgary and organized many sport associations. She was particularly proud of her family and marriage. Greatly enjoyed skiing, biking, and other physical activities.

Patricia’s most memorable vacations were when she was visiting and biking in Europe, Eastern Townships and United States with her husband and the bike club. Patricia’s favourite saying was “use or you lose it”. She will be most remembered for her love of children, marriage, and family.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Carol Taman (Randy) of Winnipeg, and Diane Jaeger (Kim Freeborn) of Calgary, AB, and her son David Jaeger of Edmonton. She is also survived by her grandchildren Erin Jaeger-Freeborn of New Zealand, Gavin Jaeger-Freeborn of Calgary, AB, Destiny Taman of Winnipeg, Calvin Taman of Winnipeg, Georgina Halfkenny of Mexico, and Andrew Jaeger-Freeborn of Prince George, B.C, and three great-grandchildren Grace, Ivy, and Erika.

Patricia is also survived by her niece Cheryl Storrs, and nephews, Roger Jaeger Jr., Rodney Jaeger, Richard Kearney, Martin Kearney, Deane Pittman, and Scott Pittman, as well as numerous friends.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband Frederick Tom Jaeger, grandchild Justin Taman and her sister Sheila Pittman.
