Obituary of Kristopher Brian Evashkevich

April 19, 1990 - April 16, 2023 

Kristopher Brian Evashkevich of Calgary, AB passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the age of 32 years.

Kristopher was born in Calgary, AB on April 19, 1990, to Stephanie (Brent) Kerr, and Brian Evashkevich. He grew up on an agricultural farm in Eastern Alberta and eventually settled in Calgary as an adult. Kristopher had a sharp mind and quick wit but will be most remembered for his big heart and the love he had for those closest to him. Kris loved to read, often finishing novels within a day of picking them up. He enjoyed music and playing guitar, teaching himself his favourite songs from Black Sabbath, Metallica and the like. He was passionate about and built a career in deep utilities work in Calgary and area. Kristopher took great pride in being a good son and brother. He is deeply missed and forever remembered. 

Kristopher is survived by his parents, Brian Evashkevich and Stephanie Kerr (Brent); sisters, Sarah (Henry) Carefoot, Kelsea (Roger) Redoble; nieces, Charlotte, Isla, Annette, and Elise; and beloved extended family members. 

A Celebration of Life will be held as an open house at his sister Sarah’s home in Calgary, AB on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed on Kristopher’s obituary here.
