Obituary of Ray Parkinson

Ray Parkinson was born on the 25th of October 1935 in Lewes, Sussex, England and passed away April 19th, 2023, with his wife of 49 years by his side.

Ray loved and adored his wife Barbara and his twin daughters Angela (Dallas), and Jennifer (Ryan). He loved his six grandchildren and took every opportunity to tease them.

Ray will always be remembered for his love of gardening, hiking, fishing, skiing, ice skating and nature in general. His hard work ethic was passed down to his daughters as well as a shared love of the outdoors.

We are forever grateful to the palliative care team on Unit 66 at south Calgary Health Campus and the nurses and volunteers at Foothills Country Hospice for all their love and support.

Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we'll miss you until we meet again.
