Obituary of Eamon Thomas Hayes

August 21, 1992 - April 19, 2023

Our beloved son, Eamon Hayes of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the age of 30 years.

Eamon was born and grew up in Calgary. He graduated from Ernest Manning High School and attended APRA and SAIT. He was a talented and passionate goalie in both hockey and soccer as well as being a very skilled guitarist. He was an intelligent man who voraciously consumed information about everything under the sun. His curiosity was tailor-made for journalism, and he was studying at SAIT when COVID closed the school putting his education on hold.

Though he struggled over the years, he was always a kind and loving soul who was never happier than when he was with his family. He made everyone laugh with his off-the-wall humour and bizarro wit. He was much loved by those who knew him, and his passing leaves a huge gap in the world.

We love you. We miss you.
