Obituary of Linda Lorraine Collins

November 4, 1959 – Kingston, Ontario

April 23, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

Linda Collins, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Foothills Country Hospice, at the age of 63.

She was born in Kingston, ON, on November 4, 1959. Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Craig Williams, daughter Kristin (Cory) Steinke, son Ryan (Jennifer) Collins, and her two grandkids, Avery and Finley Steinke. She is also survived by her mother, Shirley Chamberlin, brother Ken (Patricia) Chamberlin, sister Sandy (Ken) Fach, and many nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her father, Llewellyn Chamberlin.

Linda's love for coffee and chocolate was only matched by her quick wit and signature eye-rolling. Those who knew her best understood that her sarcastic humor was one of her defining traits, and they will always remember her for it.

Linda loved spending time with her family and especially cherished the sun vacations she took with Craig to Cuba and Mexico. Linda's 60th birthday trip to Phoenix in 2019 was her final family vacation filled with cherished moments. Alongside Craig, Linda was surrounded by her entire family, all coming together to celebrate the milestone birthday of a truly special person.

Linda was so proud of her two grandchildren, Avery and Finley, and loved them more than words can express. She loved to watch Avery’s hockey and triathlon as well as Finley’s dance and gymnastics. We will always love her and miss her so, so, so, so much…
