Obituary of Clara Taylor

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Clara Taylor. She passed peacefully at Rockyview General Hospital on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the amazing age of 106 years.

Clara was caring, generous and loving to all her family members who marveled and respected her. Clara loved her independence, dancing, travelling, and golfing. Her favourite saying was “live for the day – not the past or the future”.

Clara will be missed by her loving sister Isabel Rushing as well as many family members, including numerous nieces and nephews.

Clara was predeceased by her husband Dave, her parents John and Bella Fildes, siblings Mabel Cowan, Ethel Davies, Dorothy Dwyer, John Fildes, and Edith “Babs” Korbey.
