Obituary of Jasmine Desirée Osmon

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jasmine Desiree Osmon, who was born on June 20, 1992 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Jasmine passed away on April 28, 2023 in Calgary, AB.

Jasmine is survived by her mother, Debbie Pinel, and father, Ronald Osmon, as well as her half-brother RJ Osmon and half-sister Karley Osmon. She is also survived by her stepfather, Glenn Pinel, and her aunt and uncle, Sandra and Patrick Rafferty, along with her cousins Jarod and June Selanders, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. And many of her "family friends".

Jasmine spent her childhood and adolescence in Calgary where she attended school and graduated from grade 12. She was eager to start her own life and welcomed a new family member, O'Malley the Alley Cat, into her home. Soon after, she found her own apartment and filled it with her cherished baking supplies and arts and crafts. She obtained her own car and secured a job in retail clothing, which suited her love for fashion and helped her settle into her life.

Jasmine was a beloved family member and friend, known for her loving and kind-hearted nature. She had a gift for seeing the good in people and had an infectious smile that lit up every room she entered.

While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that Jasmine's journey continues in the universe. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Jasmine’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here. We will also have a video presentation available for anyone who would like a copy. Thank you for all who pulled Jasmine's Celebration of Life together so quickly and to all who have helped us during these difficult times.
