Obituary of Heather Kathleen Lamontagne

Heather Lamontagne (nee Newnham), beloved wife of Matt Lamontagne, of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the age of 48 years.

Heather was born in Calgary, AB, on December 2, 1974. She moved to Airdrie, AB, in 2003. Heather graduated from Bishop Grandin High School in 1992 and completed her studies at Medicine Hat College in Social Work. Heather and Matt were married in 2006.

Besides her loving husband, Heather is survived by her four children, Josh Bradley, Evan Lamontagne, Zachary Lamontagne, and Kaiah Lamontagne. Heather is also survived by her mother Judi Jeffers, father Bill Newnham, sister Jodi-Lyn Newnham, plus numerous family members who will miss her dearly.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Catholic Church (1305 Main Street, Airdrie, AB) on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
