Aunt Gladys always seemed to approach life looking for joy and connection with people. Just talking to her for a while was calming because you could tell she genuinely had no interest in judgement; she was genuinely interested in other people's thoughts and worldviews.
That's not to say she was blind to faults in people or the world, but that those things don't tarnish the good, nor remove people's abilities of growth and change.
Goodbye Aunt Gladys. I know your good heart lives on in Kathleen, but I'll miss you all the same.
