Extending heartfelt condolences to Tracey and Wes, Phyllis and Henry, Brent and Suzanne, Troy, Earl and Carol, and Dwayne's many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tracy I am so sorry to hear about the loss of the love of your life.

I worked with Dwayne & Tracy at the Calgary Sun for several years. I will never forget Dwayne's attentativeness to the job, his sense of humor & the love that he had for Tracy.

My thoughts & prayers are will you at this saddest time in your life, also to your son as well, in the terrible loss of his father, also to Dwayne's family in the loss of their son.

I just have to share the story I was telling my daughter about Dwayne today. I remember in the mornings at the Sun, we would all read the paper when we got in. Dwayne would often leave a 'revised' copy of the Sun on my desk with words whited out and replaced with other words. It was so funny and so clever - I honestly remember so many mornings when we would be laughing so hard. Especially when one of my auto accounts was writing for the Sun on his trek to Mt. Everest. Oh my God - it was so funny. He had such a gift for making people laugh.

My most heartfelt condolences to Dwayne’s family at this time, I am so sorry to hear Dwayne’s passing. I looked up to Dwayne as a child and will never forget his sense of humour and patience with his two little cousins!
