Obituary of Cameron Keith Milligan
November 2, 1939 – Coronation, Alberta
May 4, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Cameron Milligan passed away peacefully with his children by his side on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the age of 83.
Cam was predeceased by his loving wife, Cynthia, of almost 50 years marriage. He is survived by his son Bryan and daughter Brenda. He is much loved and treasured by his brother Jack, his sisters-in-law, Verna and Irene, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Cam was also predeceased by his brother Donn and infant baby brother.
Cam was a dedicated employee of MacMillan Boedel and widely respected for his consistent commitment and high ethical standards. He always enjoyed camping with his family and in later years, the Spring & Fall Getaways at Jasper Park Lodge.
His cancers did not deter him from his favourite hobbies: tending his immaculate garden and expanding his model railroad. Cam was grateful for the exceptional friendship and incredible support he received from his model train friends over many years.
He was loved for his sense of humour and creativity. Cam was a devoted husband and father.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
