Stephanie “Rd” Stephens was called home by our Creator on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the age of 32 years.

 

Rd was born in Calgary, AB and raised in Morley, AB.  She was a loving, caring and shy person.  She received her education at Exshaw School and Morley Community School. 

 

Rd loved spending time with her son Dominique.  She loved her mother Charlene, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and her grandkids.  She was always very protective of her family and always took care of them.

 

Rd had a passion for cooking and her favorite sports were skateboarding and hockey. During her younger years, she played hockey with her dad, brothers, and cousins. She was a good hockey player. She was an outgoing person and made many friends.  She also enjoyed listening to music and making jokes – she loved to make people laugh. 

 

Rd had a big heart and will be remembered for always helping people.   She was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

 

Stephanie is survived by her son Dominque Amos, her former common-law-spouse Dan Amos, her mother Charlene Stephens; sisters, Lisa, Lindsay (Cory), Dannette (Toby), Megan (Trent) and Tasheena; brothers, Leroy and Brett; aunties, Melrose, Irene, Carol, Martina and Jenard; grandmas, Violet Amos, Madelina Stephens, Philomene Stevens and Tracey Stevens; and numerous extended family members from the Crawler, Stevens, Stephens, Twoyoungmen, Ear, Dixon, Rollinmud, Lefthand and Bearspaw families.  We apologize if we have missed anyone.

 

Stephanie was predeceased by her father Ferlin Crawler; brothers, Tyrone and George Stephens; sister Crystal Stephens; infant nephew Wendell Rider; stepbrother Ian Bigcrow; maternal grandparents, Billy Ear and Alice Stephens; paternal grandparents, Alma Crawler and Joe Twoyoungmen; maternal great-grandparents, Mary and Moses Bear; her brother-in-law Jeremy Kaquitts; Aunties Martha and Deanna Crawler; uncles , Bud Crawler and Danny Stephens; and her cousins, Conrad Crawler, Monty Crawler, Rula Crawler and Larissa Baptiste.

 

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Charlene Stephens (Morley, AB) on Saturday May 13, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at Bearspaw Youth Centre (Morley, AB) on Monday May 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).  Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
