Condolences
Condolences from my Dad, Jack Smith. He went to school with Andrew, then worked in tne industry with him. We later moved to Edmonton, Alberta where my Dad took a new position, like Andrew, in the Canadian Insurance Industry.
Greig Smith.
Andrew Bell was a long-term Calgary Stampede Promotion Committee volunteer, and he stood out, as soon as you heard his Scottish accent. Whether it be branding visitors at the airport; providing a western welcome at Stampede Breakfasts or being a Parade Street Marshal at the Stampede Parade, Andrew loved promoting the City of Calgary and the Calgary Stampede.
Another one of Andrew’s true loves was the Edinburgh Tattoo. Andrew would frequently fly back to his old hometown to attend the Edinburgh Tattoo – especially the closing ceremony.
A tip of the cowboy hat to you, Andrew.
Deepest sympathy to the family on your loss.
Shona and Sherri Gillis
