Condolences
So sorry to hear the news that Ron passed away. Barry & I send our condolences to all the family and know that our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Dody & Barry Davis
My sincere condolences to the Mckay family on the loss of your Dad.
My first meeting with Ron was on a business trip to the Dryden Mill for meetings. The meetings were to be held in the afternoon. Ron took me to a cabin on Ghost Lake where he and Gwen were spending holidays. After a few beers, Ron invited Keith White to join us and a few more beers followed. We never made it to the meetings.
That was the start of a friendship that lasted 30+ years. Ron and Gwen welcomed me into their home where I met his family who would treat me as a friend.
Over the past years I have fondly remembered the good times Ron and I had both socially and through work.
It was a pleasure and privilege to have known Ron and through him, Gwen and the McKay Family
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. “Romping Ron “ will be missed. Hugs to all. Jodi & Paul Langlais
Our sincere sympathy to the McKay family. John has many fond memories of your dad, fishing, hunting, snow machine rides and curling. Sorry for your loss. John and Erna Skillen
As beautifully described in his obituary, Ron lived life to the fullest, reflecting his confidence, curiosity and good humour. He loved his family, enjoying their many successes and achievements with great pride. His athleticism held him in good stead such that in later years he continued to complete projects for his children and shine on the dance floor. He shall be sorely missed. Sending sympathy to his family and friends, Deni and John Cashin
