Obituary of Anna Maria Rosica

With much sadness, we announce the passing of Anna Maria Rosica beloved wife of Francesco (Frank) Rosica of Calgary, AB. She passed away early on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the age of 86 years.

Anna was born in Guardiagrele, Chieti, Italy on February 18, 1937.

Anna married Francesco Rosica on October 11, 1962, and recently celebrated their 60 year wedding anniversary. Besides her loving husband she is also survived by her two children Sergio (Sandra), and Carlo. Grandchildren Francesco, and Roberto Rosica. Brother Delio Amoroso, and sister-in-law Maria Rosa Amoroso, and many nieces, and nephews.

Anna was predeceased by her daughter Carmela, parents Carmela and Giuseppe Amoroso, and her oldest brother Pietro Amoroso.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Mausoleum. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Rosica’s service streamed live on the day of the service at www.MHFH.com. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos may also be shared and viewed there.
