Obituary of Andrzej Dziamarski

May 22, 1936 – May 20, 2023

Andrzej Dziamarski of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the age of 86 years.

He is survived by his wife Krystyna; daughters, Teresa and Dorothy (Bill); son, Anthony (Karen); his two grandsons Michael (Micheline) and Matthew (Samantha); and his great-granddaughter Paisley.

As a young adult Andrzej enjoyed sports such as soccer and cycling. In Nov. ‘57, he married his lifelong friend and the love of his life. They started a family and immigrated to Toronto, Canada where Andrzej took great pride in his career as an industrial designer and estimator. Andrzej loved spending time at the cottage enjoying all water sports such as swimming, waterskiing, boating and fishing. He and Krystyna loved to attend dances at various Polish halls. Since they were partners in dance recitals as children, they were a perfect match and a sight to behold.

In 1988, Andrzej and Krystyna moved to Calgary where he grew to love both the mountains and golf. They cherished their time travelling, especially to Hawaii where he could enjoy leisurely mornings and afternoon swims. Andrzej liked to visit his son’s workshop where he could tinker and assist with various projects. His family have found it very difficult to witness his decline over the past few years. He will remain in there hearts forever.

A family service will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday May 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
