Obituary of Troy Talbot MacDonald

February 16, 1962 – Truro, Nova Scotia

May 21, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

We are very sorry to announce the passing of Troy MacDonald, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 61 years. Troy passed away after a lengthy battle with Pneumonia at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary, AB.

Born in Truro, NS, to loving parents the late Murdock L. MacDonald and surviving mother Catherine (nee Talbot) Bowering. Troy is also survived by his brother Thane (Kelly) MacDonald, sister Tanya (Brad) Olender, wife Donna, and daughters Hailey and, Marissa MacDonald.

We would like to express out sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff in the ICU for their compassionate care given to Troy. We would also like to thank friends Jo-Anne, Martin, Jay, and Terry for their help.

Troy had many friends in Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia. He will be missed by all, and we will all miss his smile.
