Obituary of Pamela Mae Davidson

August 9, 1959 – Kamloops, BC

May 21, 2023 – Calgary, AB

Pamela Davidson (nee Jones) passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 63 years.

Pamela was born in Kamloops, BC, on August 9, 1959. She moved to Agassiz, BC, in 1992, and to Calgary, AB, in 2022. Pamela was a custodian in Agassiz for many years. She took great pride in her cleaning, so much so that she requested a broom in her hospice room because they simply weren't doing it frequently enough. 

Pamela accomplished much throughout her life and was particularly proud of her two daughters and her six grandchildren whom she doted over. She also had a deep pride in her little blue house surrounded by flowers tended with love. Pamela had a passion for gardening, and canning, and enjoyed playing cards and crib. This last year she took up handy crafts like rug hooking, embroidery, and loom knitting.

Pamela’s most memorable vacations were anytime she was camping and swimming with her six grandchildren, whom she treasured. Pamela’s favourite sayings were “Good grief, Charlie Brown” and "Look for the good".

She will be most remembered for her kind touch, wonderful laugh, and the love she had for those around her. She felt the most free when she was swimming. Every chance she got she could be found in a lake or a pool! 

Pamela is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Mandy (Colin) of Strathmore, AB, and Serena (Jordan) of Calgary, AB; and her six grandchildren, Noah, Jonas, Eli, Saige, Emmett, and Gavin.

Pamela is also survived by her siblings and their spouses, Linda (Ben) of Hope, BC, Diane (John) of Prince George, BC, Sherry (Joe) of Chilliwack, BC, Gary (Mary-Lou) of Barrier, BC, sister-in-law Heather of Kitchener, ON, and Lance of Kelowna, BC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pamela was predeceased by her parents, Clayton and Barbara Jones of Savona, BC; and brother Les Jones of Kitchener, ON.
