Obituary of Jose Clemente

November 7, 1939 – Orihuela, Spain

Jose Clemente, beloved husband of Violette Clemente, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age of 83 years.

Jose was born in Spain and led an adventurous life having lived in Sierra Leone, Ghana, and then immigrating to Canada in 1976. 

Jose married his lifetime companion and adventure partner Violette Clemente (Pascual) on February 26^th, 1967.  They had two daughters; Rosemarie Clemente (Darryl Einarson) and Christina Clemente from Calgary.  Jose is also survived by his brother Julio Clemente (Despina) in Greece and his grandchildren Deanna Caine (Jace Littke) and Tyler Caine (Kieran Metcalfe) all from Calgary.  He is also survived by numerous relatives in Spain, France, and Calgary.

Jose loved his family and friends, and had a passion for fishing, travelling, eating, and telling stories.
