Condolences
Oh dear Susan, I'm so sorry for your loss.
SO many wonderful times with this grand, old lady I will forever call FRIEND.
I met her when I joined the Red Hats many years ago.
For such a little person, her energy and vitality were enormous!
Margery was always 'on the spot' with ideas and plans to get things done.
She'd always lend a hand and an ear in any situation.
A true blessing to us all.
My most cherished quality of Margery's was her huge smile; always so welcoming and embracing.
'It's time I got off this porch' sounds exactly like Margery, bless her heart.
She always reminded me of my own Mom who I lost in 2009.
Mom used to say, 'When I'm finished with this old bag of bones ...'
Blessing to you and your family.
Hugs to all, Lynne (Thompson)
I first met Margery in 1965 while having lunch with another oil patch co-worker and we were close friends ever after. I always admired Margery - she was always upbeat and positive - no matter what was going on in her life. Years later Margery and I took a drive to Christopher Lake, Sask. which I still remember. You can fit in a lot of fun and reminiscing during a long drive. Margery, I’m just sad knowing that I can’t pick up the phone and hear your wonderful laugh. God bless you. I know you will be missed by so many. Myrle
Please accept my sincere condolences on the death of your mom Margery Gearhart. My first memory of her was when I joined Red Hat and the first gathering was at her house. She was so very welcoming and friendly! And she continued to be just that -- she dropped in to my house for coffee one morning, unannounced, and was quite happy to visit while I finished my baking! She always had a hug (and a glass of wine) to share. Truly a beautiful person! I am so glad to have known her! Love, Patricia
