Condolences
We met Emil while serving in Hawaii with him at Ywam, he loved serving in the Kitchen & greeting the hungry folks at breakfast and lunch. He was a ladies man & lived to tell jokes. He loved his daughters and bragged on each of them; often. He would call and talk about anything and everything. He loved to play Rook, by the hour, with anyone who would play. He loved fixing tractors to sell and give the proceeds to his mission in Mexico. He was sad when he could no longer serve in Mexico or Hawaii.
He enjoyed our visits, in the US & in his beloved Canada.
He was a great friend & will be missed.

Uncle Emil and Aunt Elvira were always my favourite relatives to visit. Uncle Emil was always so warm and funny and loving. He made the best deer sausage and had great stories to tell when we were warmly welcomed to share meals in their home. I’m not surprised to see how many homes he contributed to building in Mexico as he was so generous and hardworking. Our condolences to all of you, he will be greatly missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Deanne Walters-Sprague and family
