Obituary of Donna Catherine Arenburg
June 25, 1955 – Bridgewater, Nova Scotia
June 1, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta
Donna Arenburg beloved wife of Ricky Arenburg of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the age of 67 years.
She moved to Calgary, AB, in 2002.
Donna graduated from New Germany Rural High School and married Ricky Arenburg on August 28, 1976.
Donna was a member of Lutheran Church Council for many years in her community. Her family was her best achievement to Donna family was everything. She loved her workplaces for years she worked at Zellers in Nova Scotia. Managed a Tim Hortons for over ten years before moving to Save on Foods and running the cash office. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, family trips and relaxing with a cup of coffee and watching her favourite show “The Good Doctor”.
She greatly enjoyed family trips to Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and Waterton National Park.
Donna’s favourite saying was “Love you More”.
She will be most remembered for everything she did for others. Donna was a soul that could do anything she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother & friend.
Besides her loving husband Ricky of Calgary, AB; Donna is survived by her daughter Amy Arenburg of Airdrie, AB; granddaughters Haley Arenburg, of Calgary, AB, and Kelsey Arenburg of Calgary AB.
Donna is also survived by her two sisters: Angela Daniels Drummond (Lindsay) of Dartmouth, NS, and Annette Daniels Leblanc (Roland) of Tantallon, NS, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Donna was predeceased by William “Billy” and Marion Daniels, both of North River, NS and two brothers: Darren Daniels of Annapolis Valley, NS, and David Daniels (Joanne) of Beach Meadows, NS.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
