Jeanette Baumbach of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the age of 82 years.

 

Jeanette was born in Calgary, AB, on February 22, 1941. She lived in several locations in western Canada throughout her life. This included Calgary, Medicine Hat, Kelowna, Winnipeg, Sherwood Park, White Rock, and finally back to her hometown of Calgary.

 

She was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for more than 45 years, volunteering her time for many of the organizations charitable and fund-raising events.

 

Jeanette’s careers included Communications, Real-estate and operating her own travel agency. She enjoyed painting, arts, and music. She absolutely loved to travel and always had the most fun doing it.

 

Her real passion was for her family and friends. She was a life coach, supporter, always had our backs, very generous, loved entertaining, and was a great role model for all of us.

 

Jeanette was predeceased by her husband Robert, father Jacob, and mother Evelyn. She is survived by her partner Peter, son Timothy (Silvana), daughter Leslie (Frank), sister Bonnie (Jim), grandchildren Jacob (Katie), Karla, Amanda (Charles), Joshua (Erica), and Alexa (Artur); great-grandchildren Kadyn, Sarah, Danielle, Bailey, Dawson, and Isabel; and many extended family members.

 

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team and all the friends and neighbours that supported her and us during this difficult time.

 

Jeanette's family would like to invite you to join them for her Celebration of Life on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Tuscany Residents Club (212 Tuscany Way NW, Calgary, AB).
