Obituary of Colin John Boehner

June 11, 1959 – Vancouver, British Columbia

June 2, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

When you think about Colin, it's hard to imagine a world without him. His presence was there, even when he wasn't in the room. Colin could be a force to be reckoned with. He could be caring, empathic, and incredibly funny.

His passing on Friday, June 2, 2023, was a shock to all of us.

He adored his children, Tianna, Ty, and Dylaina. His grandchildren, Alyssa, Caleb, Cassidy, Makiya, Ayla, and Ryker, were the precious gifts he didn't think he deserved. His partner Sue shared with him some of the happiest times they had together in Calgary. His passing has left his sister Shelagh (Dennis) deeply saddened.

He will be incredibly missed by all.
