Condolences
So very sad to hear about this news about Terry. I have fond memories of Terry as a ball hockey rival. He always had his game face on and was competitive to the last moment every week. We may have even banged each others shins once in awhile with the those wooden sticks.
Terry was a good engineer and loyal to those in his circle. He always made me smile.
I worked with Terry in the process technical group at Syncrude in Fort McMurray early in his career. He was an avid 10 k runner ,and also played tennis and softball on our team. Terry also worked with a group of us to produce a weekly sports show for local television called "This week in sports" which provided Guy Boutillier the host some visibility in Fort McMurray before his run for Mayor. My condolences to his family.
Very sad and surprised to read of “The Dodger’s” passing. We worked together in Process Development for many years and share the same birth year. While a quiet man he had a wry sense of humour and of course loved to golf. Somewhere packed away I’m sure I have pics. My condolences to his family.
Sad news to hear of Terry passing.
Condolences to his family and close friends.
My condolences go out to Terry's family as they mourn the loss of Terry. He was a good colleague and will be missed.
So sorry to hear about Terry's passing. Over the years, I received much well thought out technical advise and recommendations from Terry. He was very good at what he did. His knowledge of secondary Upgrading was excellent. I do hope that he enjoys a round or two of golf in Heaven. We are all headed there eventually. See you then Terry.
I learned today of Terry's passing. unexpected and sad news for sure. Terry was one of us earlier group of engineers at Syncrude and that made him special. To pass at 66 is far too young. He will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences and prayers to his family. Rest in peace my friend.
I received the sad news of Terry’s passing today. It’s hard to believe Terry has left us. Although we have not spoken for many years I always enjoyed working and socializing with him. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
Very sad news and shocking. He was a great colleague and well respected engineer. Yes, there were personality nuances but always respect and confidence in his work. The nuances made one smile. Condolences to Terry's family and friends. He'll be missed.
Terry will be missed. I appreciated his quiet manner and the technical skills that Wayne mentioned. In the early days, I ran in a 10k race with Terry. As I recall, he just barely beat me. And yes, I did occasionally get "the look" from Terry that Demetri described.
From the Perry Family our thoughts and prayers are with Debbie and Jim. Terry was a man of few words but when he had something to say he held his ground and stuck to his principles. Always a hard worker who was very conscientious, kind, thoughtful and caring. We shall miss him, rest in peace.
My condolences to Terry’s family. He was a good friend to me and was a much respected engineer at Syncrude. Gone too soon – RIP Terry.
So sorry to hear of Terry's recent passing. He was a valued member of our foursome at Miskanaw golf course in Fort McMurray during the 90's. He was always humble, sincere and good natured. As one of his first supervisors I always remember Terry as being honest, hard working and reliable. Our thoughts and prayers to Terry and his family.
So sad. Terry was a gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Always sad to hear of a friend and colleague passing. My deepest condolences to his loved ones and family. I will always remember the look he gave me when I offered an opinion that he had other ideas on, especially the original quatro pro balances. A GREAT collaborator and friend. He will be missed. Very sad to know that Terry has passed. My condolences to his family and friends. We were classmates at the UofA and enjoyed our careers together. Terry was a man of few words but always excellent work. When anyone learned that Terry was working an issue, they relaxed knowing that his answer could be relied upon.
Sadden to hear the news of Terry passing. Deepest condolences to the families and friends.
Condolences to family and friends. I was shocked by his passing. Terry was one of the first and closest friends i made when i moved to Fort McMurray in 1987. Over time we hung out a lot and enjoyed many years of friendship and sports together. He was a stand up guy and in times of need was always there for me when i needed help. It is hard to believe he is gone. He will be missed.by many friends. May God rest his soul.
My sincere condolences to Terry’s family and friends. Terry was one of the first people I met Terry when I was a summer student in 1988. He was very kind to me and a brilliant engineer who helped me several times over the years. I cherish social gatherings that we both attended, John and Alisa’s wedding being a highlight. I will miss seeing Terry at Syncrude colleague reunion lunches.
