I am very saddened to hear about David's passing. I got to know David about 20 years ago, as I saw him in my neighbourhood of Hillhurst frequently, and we would go for lunch a couple of times a year. It was always great to catch up with him. We always had great conversations together, and we would just pick up where we left off last time. I lost touch with David after I moved out of the neighbourhood in 2016, and when I tried to get in touch with him recently, I was very surprised and saddened to hear about his passing. RIP David, only the good die young.
