My deepest condolences to the family. Dan was one of best friends during my teenage years. Then I moved back to Ontario. He was my best man at my wedding here in Ottawa Area. Kind, considerate great sense of humor. I am so sorry we lost touch. You have always been in my thoughts and I wish now I had of reached out years before now.

I was so devastated to hear that you were gone. Your love and laughter penetrated the hearts of everyone that was fortunate to cross your path. If there were words to comfort those that have lost you Dan, I would place them here. But words fail. I believe that we all come to this earth to fulfil our sacred contract. Yours is over my friend. Move on with love and light. I will light a white candle to guide you on your journey. I know that we did not communicate as often as we could have, but I know you knew I was here for you. I will never forget Dan, with the big, booming voice and a personality to match! Your zest for life was contagious. I will fondly remember your sense of humour, kindness and generosity.
