Sharon “Lynn” Peacock (nee Smith), of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully with her loving husband at her side on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the age of 64 years young.
Lynn was born and raised in Calgary. Lynn and John were married for 37 years but were best friends for 46. Lynn had many passions, one of which was to travel the world with John. She enjoyed live music and always looked forward to the next concert, from Jimmy Buffett to the Rolling Stones. She had a great passion for golf; she loved it so much that she became quite accomplished at it. She enjoyed meeting people and made new friends everywhere she went. She had recently retired from a successful career as a Surface Land Administrator for various oil and gas companies.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband and best friend John. She is also survived by her father Garry Smith, sister Shawn Freeman (Paul), brother Rod Smith (Irene) and sister Heather Smith-Boyle (Doug). Lynn was predeceased by her mother, Dayle Smith in 2007. She was also predeceased by her beloved feline fur babies, Jessie, her companion for 21 years, and Marg and Rita, who shared her heart for eighteen years. She will be lovingly remembered for her kind heart and her beautiful smile by many family and friends.
