Obituary of Frank Philip Reeve

June 19, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

 

Frank Phillip Reeve, beloved husband of Gloria Reeve (nee Davis), of Calgary, AB, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, June 19, 2023, at the age of 82 years.

 

Born in Sheffield, England June 17, 1941.

 

Frank married Gloria in 1972, and the family moved to Canada in 1982. He worked for AGT until launching his own company Calgary Telephone Wiring with his friend and partner until he retired in 2006.

 

Frank enjoyed camping, fishing, canoeing, and long walks with his family. He loved vacationing with Gloria, meeting up with family and friends. He loved to have a good time, and will be remembered by many for his stories, a great sense of humor, and inappropriate jokes.

 

Frank enjoyed home improvements whether it was his own or helping family, and friends. He was passionate about weightlifting, and a longtime member of the gym.

 

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will always be remembered with love by Gloria, and his children, Carron Chiocchio (John), Martin Wragg, John Reeve (Jeanette), and Vanessa Schuett (Cody). He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Callum, Lia, Olivia, Ellie, Grace, and Stone and step-grandchildren Kevin, and Kayla.

 

Frank will be missed by many family members in England and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, and second mother Mary Reeve.

 

Celebration of life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
