Obituary of William Claude RENWICK

February 18, 1933 – Irma Alberta September 14, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta William (Bill), beloved husband of Lorraine Renwick (nee Osterlund) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Born in Irma Alberta, February 18, 1933 and raised in Three Hills, AB. Bill married Lorraine Osterlund in Calgary June 1, 1957. He worked for Government of Canada, Water Survey Division for thirty-three years and sang with the Calgary Stampede City Barbershop Chorus for twenty-seven years and fifteen year in the Lakeview United Church Choir. Anyone who knew Bill, would remember his love of cars, gadgets, fixing things and sense of humour. He will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him. Besides his loving wife Lorraine, William is survived by his children, Rodger Renwick (Margaret) and Kathryn Clarke (Robert); sister Marian Hiebert (Fred) and sisters-in-law Anne and Ella Renwick; his grandchildren, Russell Clarke, Dr. Michael Clarke, Elizabeth Page (Dr. John Page), and Karlyn Renwick. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Martha Renwick and brothers Arthur and Alan Renwick. Memorial Service will be held at Bethany Chapel (, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
