My mom, Thelma Stewart, always spoke fondly of Peggy. The two of them worked at the CIBC data centre for a time, where they exchanged ideas, including recipes. The Stewart family has enjoyed jelly made with Nanking cherries ever since Peggy reassured Mom that the cherries were safe to eat, more than 50 years ago. Heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your mom.

To Peggy’s family I spent many years in the Whitley life even staying at the old house with Alison as you know, Peggy was a warm well meaning caring person, spent many hours in her company and Fred’s it was always a joy, she had a sense of humour that was all her own. She was caring and sharing, may her memory be a blessing. I want to say thankyou to all her giving kindness in those early years, best wishes to you all.
